1910 Hudson Tires

Another question, the 1910 has clincher style rims.  Can you use the more modern and easier to find straight tire on the clincher rims?

Thanks Jay

Lucas Tire, Long Beach, CA,  one of the oldest tire supply companies to the antique car hobby, has excellent technical help and can certainly answer your questions as well as provide proper tires, tubes, gutter strips and hardware.  They outfitted by 1917 Dodge Brothers some 18 months ago.   My DB was parked in 1937 because, you guessed it...... the family could not find correct tires..

All of my Hudson's have Lucas tires on them. I recommend them too.

When it comes to cars of this era, Dave Kostansek comes to mind.  He's restored (and drives!) a lot of them.  Have you contacted him with your questions?

Thanks all, I will check with Dave on the tires and the ID plate issue as well.
