Look up Dave Carpenter. He is in the HET roster. Virginia.0

I like the kick-up and over the right rear spring for the right side pipe.
Otherwise you will have a tight situation between the spring and spare tire recess as I have {click below} !!0 -
Hey, everybody this is Dave Carpenter. You're looking at the exhaust system on my son Adam's 53 HH. It is tight! There have been clearance problems to deal with, including the crankcase downtube, UV joints on prop shaft, and of course the right leaf spring. Still not perfect, when the rear of the car tries to bottom out it strikes the right exhaust pipe. More fiddling to do. Considering trying to run a pip to left side of car. We'll see.0

Agree with crossover, and will definitely do this when I correct the system0
-
David, what size pipes did you use? Great looking Hudson!0
-
I did pretty much the same thing, but I had it twisted "over-under" at the fuel tank/spring shackle, then twisted back to "double-barrel" at the bumper.0

Thanks Kerry, pipes are 2 inch. The muffler is Magnaflow dual-in-dual-out. It has a built-in X pipe, with all the benefits. I will never use another muffler- the sound is perfect on this car.0

Anyone here recognize the make of this muffler. Came on my Hornet; no names on muffler.
Tks~~~0
