Replacement Rear Leaf Springs for a 39 112
I need to replace the rear leaf springs on my 39. Would appreciate any sourcing advice in the aftermarket. Plenty of "Spring Guys" out there but as always I am hoping to find an off the shelf solution rather than get custom springs.
The springs appear to be 48 inch with the pin in the center.
If a figure something out I will post it.

A spring business here in Adelaide South Australia was closing up approx 10 years ago and all their NOS including Hudson and Essex springs loose springs and assembled were thrown in a big steel scrap bin. They pulled out a few for me but Im sure a lot were in the bottom of the bin and too hard to get out. They had what they fitted painted on them. Around the same time a trucking company was closing down and had thousands of bearings all neatly stacked in labelled boxes. I was lucky to get 2 complete sets of front wheel bearings for my 24 Hudson for $60. A lot of club members would have had similar experiences however with tighter stock control I doubt if this will happen again in the future.0

Has anyone here at the forum had any experience with this company? Do they make Hudson springs? Are their prices similar to those for Eaton?
Also, I've heard it said that today's spring leaves are actually thicker than those of olden days, and that therefore, companies are unable to replicate the exact "ride" that older springs provided. Does anyone know if this is true, or if some spring companies are in fact able to provide the same original thickness of leaves?

Just checking that you really need to replace them as they had split leaves from the factory making it appear that they had broken leaves?0

I have purchased from ESPO in the past for a 55 Chevy wagon. No complaints.I spoke with Eaton in Michigan today. They say they have blueprints. I wont want a reman of what I have so I need to work with then on a higher arc spring. They knew my stock arc, width and length. For those unfamiliar I have mine set up as a 60's Gasser with 460 ft lbs of torque.Nerve_Center you are correct they are split leaf. My passenger side has bent and I believe broken the 4th leaf.Bottom line I abused my stock springs with a longer shackle and a ton of torque.0
