Finally tomorow morning I'm buying my 1st hudson hornet . It's a 52 four door with a 308 single carb and hydramatic auto transmission. Hasn't run in over 20 years but the guy who has it said it did turn over ??? My father had a 54 twin h power hornet that I helped with when I was 10, and now being 31 I still don't know too much about this old relics . I'm guessing I'll start by draining and replacing all fluids . Checking for spark and checking the points. Then cleaning the fuel tank and maybe giving the carb a once over , then hopefully try and start it , any advice from the pros for this HUpson youngster ? Any advice would truly be appreciated
