Brake return springs

Can someone tell me if the brake return springs are the same on the 1940 Super Six as on a 1946 Super six? I think they should be, and NAPA did not have a listing for the 1940 so I ordered the springs for a 1946.

    Marvin I was told they weren't the same idk i do know they are hard to find .their is no listing for them I guess you just have to see if they match up Good luck

    When they come in I will compare to what I have. One of the originals broke and the rest are pretty crusty even after being cleaned.
