Greetings
I am a newbie here but not to Hudsons-I have had a few of these stepdowns in my past but I have a renewed interest again with the purchase of a 1952 Pacemaker convertible.I have had dealings with a few Hudson Gurus that I hope to encounter again on this site.My name is Steve and I live on the east coast

Welcome aboard Steve. I've moved your post into the Hudson area where more folks will see it.

You'll find this a club where there is always someone willing to help and any question you ask will get an answer! Also go across to www.hetclub.org which is the main website for the club and have a look around there. Joining the club gives you access to a great magazine & a comprehesive library of Hudson related information available to download as well.

Welcome to the Forum, Steve.  Are you in the Club by any chance?  If not, you might mention your location because there might still be some local Hudson gatherings going on this year which you might want to attend.

Welcome aboard.  The East Coast is 2000 miles long.  Where are you near.  N of Albany NY here.  Driving a 36 Terraplane, a 49 Commadore, a 47 Hudson PU and a 40 eight coupe.

Feel free to ask questions.  I've done about everything to these cars except hot rodding.  I'm all Hudson

It was a toss up between a 49 commodore or the 51-I wanted the 49 badly but the rust underneath swayed me.I am still going to try and grab it but not for $25000.At least I was fortunate enough to buy all the Hudson parts that was there-the first 2 pics are of the 49 and the first half of the parts that I purchased-I am going to make one last run at the commodore.I promise no more pics!!
