Drive Master uses a longer connecting tube from the oil bath unit to the carb/silencer barrel.
This enables the mounting bracket to hold the unit forward of the Drive Master operating mechanism.
Hope this makes sense!  Can get a picture or measurements Monday if needed.

I have three Filters. one is a simple oil bath that sits on top of the carb. 2nd one is a dry horizontal (looks like twin H but for a 2bbl) and an oil bath horizontal. Car does not have DM. The last two have a support bracket under a head bolt.

48-49 oil bath horizontal were supported by bracket mounted on the edge/flange of the water jacket cover
My 49 6 cyl came with the simple round oil bath.
my 48 coupe 6 cyl had the dry (twin H type), as did my 1950 commodore 6.
I guess you pick what you like.
These examples were cars that I owned in the late 50's  Still have bits from all.

    Looks correct for non-drive master.

Ric - Those large oil bath were really impressive when you opened the hood and a non-Hudson person was standing close by and caught a glance at it !   I've had quite a few long conversations with complete strangers about those air cleaners
