vacuum wiper motor
Is there anybody with a original 54 hornet motor that is having a problem keeping the outer cable from moving when the screw and washer are tight. If so how did you fix the problem . When this problem is fixed our car will go for a out of province safety inspection. Thanks for everybodys help . Ray

Ray,How about just wrapping some fine wire around the cable to increase the diameter a bit. That might allow the washer to clamp the cable to the housing.0

Sounds like a good idea. I will tell my friend.

I had one of those things that would not clamp and found that the wire was frozen inside the outer cable. Make sure it moves freely..0

The cable is free and the motor is freshly rebuilt. Thanks for the help .
