My prediction is that you will find to be challenge location a shop that is familiar with those engines. There are a number of features not common to the engines of today.....or even yesterday. Take your time and grill them about their experience with the Hudson "Splasher" engines. I recall an acquaintance who took his Hudson Eight to a shop who said the first thing they'd do is install a high-volume oil pump. The BS Light came on quickly and brightly!
