Wheel Bearing grease
I have been replacing the brakes on my 1940. As long as I have the drums off, I am thinking I should repack the wheel bearings.
Questions: Should I clean out the old grease; if so, how do I do that? Is it okay to use some type of solvent?
If I do clean out the grease what is the best grease to use when repacking the bearings?
If it is not necessary to clean out the bearings, but I don't know what grease was originally used; is it okay to mix greases?
Thanks,

Thanks Ken I appreciate this.
I found a couple of videos on You Tube that showed cleaning the bearings and then repacking them.
Best regards,
Marvin
