47 Hudson center hood bulb replacement

How do you replace the bulb that lights up the Hudson emblem at the front of the hood? I can't figure it out. You either have to have long arms and be real flexible or take the hood off, or there is some way to do it that I can't figure out.

I think if you disconnect the hood supporter on one side, it will be more reachable.  Be sure you do it under the limb of a tree or something else you can tie the hood to, since the hood is very unstable when only supported on one side.
