Power steering conversion Hudson 1940 info needed
HI. I have a 40 Hudson that was my great grandfathers car. I want to add power steering to it. I have heard that there is a conversion that can be done using Isuzu parts. I have searched this forum and found some details on it. I was told at one time there was an article done outlining exactly how to do this conversion. If anyone has any info, pics, or a copy of the article I would greatly appreciate any help. Matt P.

Are you staying with 6v? If converting to 12v, then you should consider the electric ps available.0

Have you driven the 40 yet? It does not need power steering. Grease those kingpins up. There is a groove in the top of them with ball bearings on which the car rests. With the 22 inch steering wheel, these things can be steered with one finger.
