Ride height

What would be the average ride height of a Step-down Hudson. I want to keep my '51 Hudson as close to the original height of a STOCK Hudson as possible. What I am referring to is from the bottom of the rocker panel/body, down to the ground. I am thinking that it is about 6 1/2" to 7" but that's just a guess. Any knowledge on this?
Peace,
Chaz

The '52 shop manual gives height specs for front and rear on pages 12-4 and 12-16, but does not give curb height to body panels.

Use these to raise rear up if too low (or if trying to hide from revenuers !!)

Sorry, I don't have a shop manual! I just thought someone out there would be able to get a measurement from the ground up to the bottom side of the rocker panel. I want to have the car appear to be stock.

if i had the front and rear end still in my 49 i would of been happy to take the 5 mins to go out and measure.
Im surprised no one has helped you. not like its hard to go out to the car and take the measurement you are after.0 -
