Hudson land: After a 3 month R/R we have come out with a trans set up which we believe is the best way to go.

We are offering a trans adapter plate that will work for Ford T5 transmission and any Chevrolet automatic 350, 400, 700 R4, 460LE 480LE.

For the T5 adapter you get the main block adapter, Chevrolet mini starter, aluminum flywheel with metal insert, adapter to connect the Chevrolet T5 bell-housing to the ford T5 transmission, pilot bearing and all necessary bolting hardware.  You will need to purchase on your own a Ford T5 clutch, Chevrolet pressure plate, Chevrolet throw out bearing and Chevrolet trans bearing collar (will give part numbers for all . The kit is price at $1300.00.  We used the T5 from the Ford Transmission due low cost to obtain ($200-$400) and is very plentiful as compared to the Chevrolet T5.

For the Chevrolet automatic adapter: You get the main block adapter, Chevrolet mini starter, flywheel and all necessary bolting hardware. You must obtain the transmission and stall convertor. $825.00.

The beauty is the main adapter can be used for either T5 or automatic and is a much better fit with the Chevrolet mini starter on the side of the block without modification to the starter and has better clearance to the block for wiring.

Also you will need to specify if you are using a 51-54 crank or 55/56 crank.
