what is too much

I was wondering if anyone thinks that 12k is too much for a 34'terraplane coupe. a running original car from the second owner? i really would like to bring it home! thanks,a.hood

Sadly, if the car is solid and running and 100% there, it probably is NOT too much. 1934 is a desirable year, and coupes are popular body styles in any year. You might try offering him less in cold cash, but chances are that if he offered it on Ebay he'd get what he was asking.
