1956 Front shocks

Anyone know where I can find replacement front shocks for a 1956 Hudson Hornet Special? The stock ones are small and do not help with sway. Would like modern gas shocks, as it would help tremendously .

    Wouldn't think the front shocks would be the same as for a '36-'54 Hudson in a Hash.

    Call Shocks2Springs at 970-513-8283 or 800-344-1966. They have everything you'll need, front and rear for your 56'. I have a 55' that runs the same stuff. They even have options for original vs modern handling quality and HD vs standard options. Talk to them on the phone, they can walk you through the options in two minutes.

    Thanks, ordered two sets and they are being custom made, and will arrive in two weeks. If anyone is interested, Mark there can remake upper and lower control arm bushings for '55-'57 Hudsons. All they need is an example to copy. These are currently unavailable, so if someone can help Mark get these made, the front suspensions of these vehicles can be renewed.
