28 Essex Internal Courtesy Light
Hi All,
I have a couple of questions relating to the internal courtesy light fitted to the 1928 Essex.
Are there one or two light switches?
Where is the feed wire taken from, does it go along chassis rail then up the 'B' post to switch, then through timber roof frame to light?
Managed to find correct roof light on ebay but don't have switch or at least bezel/s.
Thanks
Regards

The voltage is taken form the fused supply on the main light switch to the light, and the ground wire from the light goes back to the pillar and switch.

Hi,
Geoff thank you for your comment.
I understand how to wire the internal light, however are there one or two light switches in the Essex & how is the wiring threaded through the body from the fused supply as per my original question?
Thanks

Hi All,
what gauge of wire should i use for both the feed and ground wires of the internal dome light (6 Volt)?
Thanks0 -
It only uses one amp, so does not need to be heavy.
