Wiper Switch Control Wire
I am in the process of getting the wipers back in operation on my son-in-law's '46 Hudson Super Six convertible. My problem is fabricating a control wire from the switch to the motor. I have found out it needs to pull and push in the same plane as the motor lever, a basic engineering problem. The arrangement in the attached picture (a pattern made from solder) doesn't work as it pulls up on the motor lever and binds it. Does anyone have pictures of what they may have done. I'm thinking I need to drop straight down from the switch and then go to the motor lever. There is room over the radio to do that.
