Hex screw

Does anyone know the thread size for the hex nut that goes in the shifter attached to the column for hydramatic?

    John, this is the one from my standard shift.  Don't know whether it's the same one for auto as I don't have one.

    John, this is the one from my 49 Standard.  Don't know if it's the same one as auto as I don't have one.

    Basically the thread is 5/16-18 NC x 5/16 long.  the snout is about .245 dia and the whole thing is 1 1/16.  The hex flats are 1/16 and the radius is another 1/16

    Somebody should have one for an auto for you.  At least this will bump it to the top.
