Transmission mount installation
After i replaced the engine mounts, I read on this forum that I should have replaced the transmission mount first. That being the case, is there a way to replace the transmission without removing the engine mounts first. I'm looking for the best result without a whole lot of effort. I'm not as young as I used to be.

They are bolted to the tranny in the center and there should be an opening in the cross member to get a socket up in there. You may have to get some old squashed rubber out to get to the bolt head. It's bolted to the cross member with a 5/16 I think bolt on either side. May have to remove some rubber there also to get the bolts up out.0
