Does anyone have a source for new trunk lid springs for a 1954 hornet?

    Probably a parts car. Coupe and convertibles will have different springs since the lid is larger and heavier.

    Drew, I may have a set off a 4 door '51 Commodore if they fit....they didn't work on my '51 Hollywood as mentioned by SuperDave....the lid was too big (heavy).  Terry

    I can provide a picture of a coupe's springs if you need one for comparison.

    FYI
    If cant locate suggest install a pair of modern Gas 'Shocks'. I installed a pair on my '53 coupe years ago and they work well....
