Ok... I have a 51 Hornet that originally had a leather grained dash. I know they also wood grained as well that year, but here is my issue. I'm making a plan for the body work and I don't like the look of either... I know it's sacrilege and all but how many have painted their dashes a solid color? Any pictures out there? Thoughts?

on my '52 I installed black top grain leather and painted the metal part black to match car. Fabulous outcome. Black hard top with light grey Scottish leather.0
