OK, probably whistling Dixie here, but am looking for a complete power steering setup which I can retro-fit into my '51 Hornet. Would be from a '54, of course. If anyone out there knows of one, let me know. Email: brentprim@aol.com.

You might try the electric conversion kits. There are a few Hornets running around with them and they have a lot less mess than the hydraulic original, and leaves your engine bay looking original as well. If you can find an original and by the time you get it rebuilt you will probably have more than the expensive electric kit:

By the time you get all the stock components and have the pump and steering rack rebuilt, you will have much more in it then with that electric steering kit. And the electric is adjustable for "effort".
I have a good Hudson double crank pulley/dampener I will sell.0 -
Ken U. Did you sell the 54 PS setup referenced above? If not, can you email me with details and price? Have a 53 Hornet. popgun7@comcast.net. Thanks.0
