does anyone have any data on non standard camshafts pls ?
The type of profile which might produce a bit more performance without overtaxing the system

I'm not aware of any difference in cam profile from 1934 to 1952. They did alter the radius of the lifters, from a 3 to a 4 inch radius, around 1948, which would have altered the valve timing slightly. Clive Gibson in Australia raced H8's in the thirties and forties, so perhaps some Aussies may have details whether he altered the camshaft profile or not.0

Pat McDonald from the UK is currently advertising new repro standard grind 8 cyl camshafts in WTN, I remember him offering hotter cams in the past. Eye watering prices.0
