STEERING BOX 28 SUPER SIX

Hi, should I be putting in a semi fluid grease (Penrite) into the steering box of a 1928 Essex Super Six?
I am unsure of what has been used previously but would it be easy enough to open and clean out if a normal Ep grease had been used?

Penrite Semi fluid grease is what I use in my 28 Essex steering box & have done for the last 7 years (10k miles). I'm very happy with it.
