Engine Block Color

Hi All. Can anyone tell me the correct color for my engine block...1933 Essex Terraplane Rumble Seat coupe
Thank You.  Also where can I find some accurate color chips for the exterior.

All Terraplanes and Hudsons had silver (aluminium paint). engine blocks and heads up until 1948 at least.

Thank You...I've seen a lot of pictures and the motors have been all different colors.. silver seems correct.  thank you

My original 1942 Brougham engine is painted grey with black accessories.

Have seen at least 9 original 42 engines in my 60 years of Hudson study. All were industrial gray.  Was told by a now deceased Detroit club member that the reason for the gray was the need for aluminum in the war effort, so no aluminum paint.
