I have a 1931 Standard Sedan under restoration, does anyone know if Hepolite 4 ring pistons for a Lincoln Zephyr 2 7/8 bore standard size (C) bore will work correctly? the 4th ring is below the pin unlike the originals. they also have a slight raised center on top and they may not have the T cut in them as I cant see all of the piston in the picture. I have asked the Hudson 8 tech for assistance on where to get some pistons as mine have some small vertical cracks up from the edge 1/4 to 3/8 along the dividing line of the thrust surface and the cam grind, is this common? but no response.

I do not know about the stroke or rod length of a Lincoln Zephyr but my guess would be that they would be highly unlikely to be interchangeable. Have you contacted Dale Cooper to see what he may have? (513)821-62000

I have been using Lester Harris supplied piston in my 29 (re-sleeved to std 2.75") Essex engine for several years (maybe 10k miles). Lester told me the were from a Lincoln Zephyr.
