Throttle rod to carburetor retainers
The rods that connect to the carburetors on my Twin H setup just simply go into the holes on the throttle adjuster cam without any visible means to hold them in place. Well, on the front rod, it looks like an really small "c" or "e" clamp may fit in the tiny slot at the end of the rod, but there is nothing on either that fits the bill. Is there supposed to be a hole in the end of the rod where a cotter pin could be used to hold it in place or what? As it now stands, the only thing keeping these rods attached to the carburetors is the tension from the spring that goes from the rods to the base of the carbs.

This is what you need, my friend. You'd actually need 2 kits, because there are different sizes, and you only need the one. They also have left and right ones, but again, you only need the 1 clip. Sadly, I couldn't find them sold individually anywhere.

Jason, NAPA sell those. They are sometimes called linkage connectors. Many were used lin door actuating mechanisms. As has been said there are left handed ones and right handed ones. Make sure you know what you need.0

Thanks guys. I should have figured out what I needed since this is what is on my single carburetor linkage on the 48. I may even have a spare one in the garage if I can find it.0
