Searching for lost 1951 Hornet

Back in 1977 I regrettably sold my '51 Hornet in a weak moment. I kept in contact with the person and repeatedly reminded him that if he ever sold it to ask me first. As you figure, I lost contact with him. Years later when I located his widow, she told me that he had sold it not 6 months after I'd last asked him about it back in 1982. She didn't remember who bought it other than it was a large collector from Calif, who told them to look to see it in the movies.  Mystery is that I can't find that it was ever registered in Calif and it is still listed here in Pa as registered to the person who sold it in 1982.
I asked Bill Albright's son but he said they didn't have records back that far.
It was dark green the last I saw it and it has the rare twin-H oil bath air cleaners.
 So, if anyone finds a '51 Hornet 4 door sedan with the VIN # 7A23957 please let me know at

Did you actually check with Jason Fisher, Bill's grandson, at Vintage Coach, Bill's old company in Fontana?

You should definitely check with Charlie Woodruff, since you have the serial number.  I think he has over 600 cars on his registry at this time.
