Turn Signals
I am having an issue with my front right turn signal (52 Hornet). The bulb is good, but the socket is loose and appears to be twisting in the sheet metal. It will work at first, but hit a few bumps and it twists so contact is lost and the front signal no longer flashes. The rear signal is working. Anyone have this issue? Any suggestions for permanent or even temporary fix? Thanks in advance.

Thanks Ken. The serial number is 191620. I wrote sheet metal based on an assumption. I think the lenses are plastic, so I must have the die cast reflectors.0

The pot metal bases for these parking light housings origionally had two recesses which the socket would clip onto. Over time they would wear out and lose the ability to retain the socket. Ken suggestion is right . Get two new clip on sockets and make sure you have a good ground on the old socket base.0

LS6253 worked perfectly in my 53 with minimal modification to the plastic socket0
