Dan,
Check back to your thread at http://www.classiccar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3928&highlight=seat+belts .
Julianos has some good "how to's" for 3 point belts at http://www.julianos.com/how2.html .

Thanks George, just wondered if anyone had any other comments about a step down since the light switch on the post is abou where I would need to put the shoulder belt plate.0

Since I have to rewire my Commodore, I am just going to eliminate the switch. The switch location, for me, is the best place to mount the lap belt bolt plate. I have the lap belts, but have not yet welded that plate in yet. My two cents.

Thanks
Dan
So where did you find the belts? What belts would you recommend?
My next step is to put a full set in my '48 Super Six, and I suspect there is no difference between that and your C8 as far as belts is concerned.

This is where I am ordering. They will send samples quickly and cheap if you want to check the color.
