Amelia Earhart's Terraplane Stolen and Recovered (?)
Here's the story: https://www.ocregister.com/2018/02/27/one-mystery-solved-owner-of-purported-amelia-earhart-car-grateful-to-have-it-back-after-theft/
I guess I'm always a bit suspicious when I read a story like this. Not to say that I disbelieve the owner, but how can one be sure that this was indeed Earhart's car?

I suppose if there's a dent on the radiator where she smashed the bottle of gasoline during the christening, then we have all the proof we need, right??0

Recently somewhere I read a letter from AE to Orville Wright that stated OW received the Christening car. These are like the claims that every used Terraplane in Indiana belonged to John Dillinger.0
