1956 steering gear question
A friend owns a '56 Hornet. The steering has gotten really loose and he's had it checked out professionally. Indications seem to point to (perhaps) looseness within the steering gear. It's power steering, by the way.
1. Has anyone experienced this and is there an easy adjustment?
2. Can anyone suggest a shop that can fix this, at reasonable price?
3. Do these interchange with other, more modern, AMC vehicles, and might my friend find a NOS one at reasonable cost?
