Sleeving a 202 Block
Has anyone out in Hudson land ever had any dealings with sleeving a 202 Jet engine? I have a block with a bad scar in the #1 cylinder. We have bored it out to .040 and it did not come out. The machinist and I have about decided there is not enough meat between the cylinders for a good sleeve. Has anyone had to deal with this problem? Thanks in advance. LHud

It can be done, but you must ensure that you leave a lip at the bottom for the sleeve to limit on. You should okay, as you are only doing one cylinder.0
