No... It had nothing to do with the aluminum head or the Twin H. The 308 was called the H-145 engine when it first came out. I believe the 145 simply denoted the amount of horsepower it had, which was a good amount for those days. I think the H-145 emblems were put in the 51 Hornets, as they were promoting their "new and big" engine, until they switched them to ones that simply said Hornet.0
