What do the Engine Dust Pans Attach to?

Here is another shot from the front looking towards the engine from underneath the 37.

Ken, I’m not quite sure about that... the original pictures are of the front of the dust pans and the last one is basically right below the radiator. You can see the front straight axle in the photo. It sounds like what your referring to is at the transmission?

On each side of my 37’s engine, pretty much where the oil pan bolts to the block, there are dust pans. They are on both sides of the engine & are only attached on the outboard sides. Is there a way to attach on the sides near the engine?
