If it's for a stepdown, you should be able to purchase one from NAPA.

That would be a hydraulic brake light switch. Larry needs a mechanical one. NAPA dosen't have those

Been there done that to others. All there is left of this one is a piece of plastic and 2 dangling wires.

Oops!  Overlooked the word, "mechanical."  My mistake!

I think Ford has a brake light switch for their pre-war mechanical brakes, should be readily available.
