The piece is located on the driver's side at the edge of the fender, surrounding the grille.

At the risk of being thought of as a jerk, I would ask why don't you just bondo over the hole and sand it down instead of going to the trouble of tearing your front sheet metal apart. Just curious.0

Or take it off and have a welder fill the hole and grind it smooth....0

Ken U-Tx said:For something like that, thin metal, probably with deep rust pitting on the back side, if I was to weld it, MIG may just blast it away , so I would either gas weld it with a 000 tip and soft steel wire, or use lower heat silicon bronze alloy rod to fill the hole.0
