A light bulb doesn't care if it is positive ground or negative ground. All it know is that a circuit has been made at the proper voltage.

Need the housing bulb and wire

Suggest go to a Salvage Yard and pull one from a late model car that automatically lights when door opens, then put in a 6V Bulb
