308 7x Hot start technique

Looking for input on "perfecting" my hot start technique.
- For a" cold start" i use run the electric fuel pump for approx. 30-45 secs, 2 x pumps of the gas pedal and then crank. This seems to work very well and car catches quickly.
- For a "hot start" the previous owners advice was put your foot about 1/3 down on the accelerator and turn the key.
Any other techniques / tips / experiences for starting when hot ?

Sounds like your carbs are percolating, ie pushing raw gas down the manifolds. Might want to lower the floats a little to compensate for the new lighter weight gas. The open throttle is essentially clearing the flooded condition.0
