28 Essex Brake Pedal Return Spring

Anyone know where I can find a replacement brake pedal return spring for a 28 Essex Super Six? My brake pedal gets stuck down. The old spring has no strength left in it.

Have you tried an engineering supply store?

I can't seem to find any in my area (Northern Virginia, USA). I tried all the auto parts and tractor supply stores in the area. I did find this one online. Its about the same size - https://grumpsgarage.com/product/1942-47-brake-pedal-retracting-spring-10-1-4-long/

I doubt anyone will have the original spring, so grab one and modify it for length if necessary.
