Battery Cable Routing?

I’m hoping to finish making the new battery cables for my 37 Coupe however im wondering if there is a prefered route?  Also where to attach the positive ground to on my 212ci 6cyl?

I can’t remember if it was the generator upper bracket stud from engine or if it was the water pump bolt above that?  

Ideally I’d like the cables hidden but that’s likely not going to happen with this one.  Since I couldn’t find any photos or info in all the 37 resources from the club documents, I really appreciate the help on these battery cables!

My measuring twice somehow fell a tad short for the positive to block cable.  So I may have to put it back on the water pump bolt as it’s the closest.
