Not sure what you call this 1980 Shay reproduction. It was built, sold and designed by Ford. When I got it we hand formed a 27/28 Essex grill, added 1930 17" wheels, Essex hub caps and the 28 Essex cowl lights. We have a lot of fun with a model that was never produced by Hudson...

Bought this for a driver not for a totally stock restored car. It already had much done to it that I wanted: Power steering, air conditioning, 12 volts, disk brakes, plus totally restored. And I added a lot; about the only thing lacking is cruise control that I will install eventually. The link below will show 200+ photos.

49 Commadore 262 w/OD, bought in 98 damaged with 29K miles on it stored in a barn for 35 years. Restored and driven to Pittsburg National in 04 where it got picked for the Albright Award. Has been to Nationals in Boston, and Detroit and many multi-make shows. Daily Driver. Just turned 44K miles

No contest This is the best so far but i am biased! First time I drove her she only had about 17K miles!
