Hard, waxy grease used in screw down cups
Hello, I am bringing my 1928 Hudson back to life. I got rebuild kits for the fuel pump and carb, cleaned out fuel lines and gas tank. In lubing the car I haven’t been able to find a hard, waxy grease that is used in a screw down cup on the side of the engine. Does anyone know what it’s called and where I can get it?
Thank you,
Tim Stonger

If you are talking about the grease cups for the chassis or other suspension parts just use a good bearing grease. I am not sure if you have grease cups for side mounted water pump. If it is the water pump use water pump grease only, that you can get at Restoration Supply. If you call then in the morning for an order they will ship out the same day. They also have all kinds of other greases so I am sure they will have what you need.
