    When I would take my 33 terraplane 8 to car shows, it was always amusing that most people had never of a Terraplane, or Hudson and forget Essex. were amased to see a straight 8, could not believe how quiet and smooth it was. Once while at a local cruise in here in Washington Iowa a young fellow about 10 years old came by the car and went nuts yelling to his mother about there was a Terraplane 8, seems he had read about them and their performance. Needless to say helped my ego and he got to set in one and got several pictures. Sold it 5 years ago.

    The look we has seen when leaving a cruise with the straight 8 and someone walks out in front of us because the car was so quite.They can't believe the car was running and wondered where I came from lol

    He bought it new, October 1933 as I remember. Only reason that I sold it was I was having trouble getting in and out of it. !!GETTING OLD!!. It went to a member of an old Hudson Family who know what the car was.
