where is the Moter  number stamp on1929/1930 essex

    Approx 5,000 numbers after the car number.

    Geoff, I think he's looking for the location of the engine number.

    Oops, misread! the number is stamped on the side of the block, just below the top surface, and in front of the water outlet elbow.
