If that is the same "fellow" I'm thinking of, a number of our chapter members moved cars to his land in Upper Marlboro. That gentleman died maybe 20-25 years ago. I believe that all the cars were subsequently cleared out -- either junked or retrieved by their individual owners. So it's possible that one or more of the cars you mention, survived -- if Glenn gave away or sold one of them prior to the cars' being cleared out. I don't recall Glenn having any of those cars at the end of his life.

Jon I think you got it, sounds like same fellow. The Hornet coupe was rust free, complete and running, I would have kept it if I was not moving to IOWA, the Hornet sedan had belonged to Rich Erskine and originally came from Indian Head, it to was running and rust free, nice shape but was ugly green. darn shame if the were scrapped.0

I thought you just moved to Iowa a few years ago, Tom? Yet you sold the car back in '75. Were you planning to move to Iowa that long ago?I remember Rich Erskine! He had a ton of Hudson stuff at his home. I have an entire 1937 front and rear axle of his in my barn! This old Hudson stuff just moves from collector to collector....0

I first moved to Iowa in 1967. Rest of story sounds crazy, but I am here to stay now since 2006. Both my sons moved have here after long naval careers Here to stay. Rich was an awful nice guy. Good mechanic.
