Stolen Hudson
....stolen about 98 years ago, that is!
This photo is from the Shorpy collection, on the Internet. An accompanying newspaper story tells "How Thieves Camouflage Stolen Cars". Apparently the car you see was once a 7-passenger car. The car thieves removed the entire rear of the body and substituted "boards and canvas" and disc wheels to create the sporty roadster. This all happened in Washington, D.C., circa 1920.
