Hello,
I'm restoring a 1953 Hornet 3 speed manual transmission. We want to make a #92 Herb Thomas Fabulous Hudson Hornet tribute car. What color should I use?

    From what I read on the internet, Herb Thomas drove a 1952 Hornet during his racing career when he was winning all of his races. I guess it doesn't really matter about the exact year if you are putting together a "tribute" car....

    Not sure why the transmission would be any different from the standard gold for the Hornets '51-'54.
