Anyone know offhand what the wheelbase is on a 46-47 truck? I got a cab and bed but no frame and looking for a decent substitute. I have a sedan parts car but pretty sure it is not long enough.

    IIRC it is 128" for the big boy and 116" for the earlier shorter versions but it could be any wb you want.  I shortened mine by removing some length at the rear of the frame behind the x-member since the box needed to be rebuilt and shortened by about 6" at the front and 6" at the back.  Now proportions are more similar to 1940 ford pu albeit with the long hudson front end.  Also has jag xj6 ifs,irs, dohc inline 6 with gm turbo 350 trans.  Front and rear of bed was rebuilt with 14 gauge material and is much stronger than original and new tailgate also
